Salicylate Intolerance Assessment

Salicylate intolerance has been known for more than 100 years. It is a reaction that happens from the contact with salicylates in medications, cosmetics, personal care products, and plants.

Use Nutri-IQ functional assessment of salicylate sensitivity if it is suspected as a root cause of client's health problems. The probability of salicylate intolerance is established when at least conditions of Samter triad are met. Use a food & symptom journal to establish the link between contacting salicylate type and dose, and the occurrence of the symptoms.
